I had a fantastic discussion with Alex with the aim of coming up with a short/long term plan on training for selection. It was structured in a way where I felt like I got a lot out of the session whilst he also took the time to let a deeper discussion flow on certain points that came up. As a reservist it can sometimes feel harder to access some of the experience that might be more available than regulars going for selection, so it was great to chat with someone to help structure my training plans and get an idea of timings etc. and put me on the right track for my aims. Alex is hugely experienced, and the level of understanding of military selection syllabi, and their attendant preparation requirements is impressive, and a million miles away from some of the "one size fits all" programmes that are out there.
