ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Developed in collaboration with the STA Patrols training team, this 24-week programme is specifically designed to prepare you for the Surveillance and Reconnaissance Patrols Course (SRPC).

It focuses on optimising load-bearing efficiency, improving aerobic capacity, and developing strength endurance—key attributes for enduring the demands of selection. Additionally, it builds a robust foundation of overall strength to enhance resilience and minimise injury risk, ensuring you are physically prepared for the challenges ahead.

WHY WE DESIGNED THIS

After conducting a comprehensive needs analysis and working closely with the STA Patrols training team, we identified the biggest challenges candidates face: limited ability to move efficiently under heavy loads over long distances, insufficient physical robustness, and slow recovery between exertions.

This 24-week cycle directly targets these weaknesses, enhancing load-bearing endurance, aerobic capacity, and lower-body resilience, while also developing upper-body strength, size, and muscular endurance—ensuring you are physically prepared for the demands of selection.
